In Home Therapy

Home Therapy offers one on one therapy in the convenience of your own home.  We listen, understand and incorporate individual needs to create customized treatment plans.  Goals of therapy are to restore function, improve mobility and relieve pain to promote independence in the home. This allows our patients to stay in their own homes.  No hospital or rehab stay is necessary and you do not have to be home bound.  Only a prescription from a doctor is required.  Traditional Medicare is accepted and any secondary insurance. Also, Managed Medicare and private insurances are accepted.

We offer two types of therapy in the home setting:

Physical Therapy
Physical therapists access strength, balance, coordination, range of motion, bed mobility, transfers “sitting and standing, and ambulation to identify deficits in functional mobility.  Therapists can also complete home safety evaluations and make recommendations to ensure the safety and continued independence of our patients in their homes.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists assess vision, sensory loss, cognitive reasoning ability, and upper body deficits. Upper body deficits can include decreased strength, decreased range of motion, and coordination difficulties. Occupational therapists are also trained in identifying deficits in Activities of Daily Life (ADLs). These activities include bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, cooking, and driving. Occupational therapists also complete home safety evaluations
